On one day, all of my office contents and discontents were stuffed into boxes in one building. On another day, those same boxes and those same stowed items arrived in the new office a short walk down some stairs and 50 years forward in architectural design.

I’m trying to infuse coffee into my bloodstream, keep a focus so that I can accomplish even one task. A review, a student’s old paper, a few phone calls to return. But there are those boxes, each one with the items and tasks that I’d Tetrised into them, a time capsule of only a weekend’s worth of time.
